Clouds Reflecting on the Water

When commissioned to create a piece for the 2011-12 Native Art Travelling Exhibition I just had to create a collage of the many beautiful elements found here in Minnesota. Thank you to Ernest Hensler for the stunning translation of the title into Cree Syllabics.

I am so pleased to share with everyone my latest painting “Lightning Walker”.

This incredible Spirit arrived on the third day of a ceremonial. She took 4 years before I was able paint this work. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Hard to imagine that it has been two years already that I have been working on my book. At long last I have completed my effort! I am busy proofreading and editing the piece, then off to the design of the cover art!

I will keep you posted!

Every now and then my seed beads just insist on being formed into something beautiful.

My new beaded men’s belt buckle is created from size 11 seed beads and backed with white buckskin. Buckle is 3.25″ x 2.5″
